This Control gives pump on priority to solar gain hours and adds the number of hours that the solar system demands the pump ON if this is less than the minimum required by the pool engineer it will make up the difference so that the system runs at least the minimum hours set.

It has two settings.

1 Minimum hours filteration required when swimming pool not in use
2 Minimum hours filteration when pool cover removed
3 Filter run time can be automatically changed when cover is opened with electric or hydraulic systems
4 It records the hours run each day and where the signal comes from
5 These accumulated hours display on the front of the control and show daily hours and the total since last reset the daily hours re set each night

Why this is Important

All swimming pools loose a great deal of heat from the under ground pipes especially if the ground is wet or flooded the object of this product it to maximize the hours that the pump runs when the solar system has useful heat output this reduces the time filtering when not heating and by stopping the pump reduces the heat loss from the pipes. Further to this is adds up the ON time and if there is insufficient pump ON time to cover filtering. The problem with only having the filter on only when the sun shines you may not get enough filter and chemical circulation of the pool this control makes up the shortfall time.
